Chickens, and Turkeys, and Guineas, Oh My!

(s)he’s my little buddy.

We currently have:
4 American Leghorn chickens
5 Buff Orphington chickens
4 Barred Rock chickens
7 guineas
and 2 turkeys.

Yesterday we only had one turkey, but he was far too cute to ever have plans to eat him. Mike realized I was never going to let him kill my little baby turkey so he figured buying a new one for Thanksgiving was a good idea. He told me he “bought the ugliest one” to increase our chances of actually being allowed to consume it at some point. The new turkey is just as cute though.

It’s okay though; in a few months, they both will look less cute and much more tasty!
