Young coasties are a bunch of pansies. They just got beat by an 8+ months pregnant woman on their swim test.
18 year old men are supposed to be able to swim 500 yards in under 12 minutes. Apparently they can’t all do it. I just swam 500 meters (an extra 50 yards) in 11:28. At 35+ weeks pregnant… and 38 years old… and female. 
The standard for a woman 30-39 only needs to make it 350 yards in those same 12 minutes.
